Park Rules

These rules are in place for the safety and comfort of our guests and staff.

Your Accommodation or Pitch

Your accommodation/pitch may only be used by members of your party and should not exceed the maximum capacity specified. You are responsible for keeping the area around your pitch clean and tidy.

Tents should display a valid ticket prominently, e.g. attached to guy rope.

We reserve the right to enter your accommodation at any time for any reasonable purpose, for example, to make checks, maintenance work or housekeeping. Your occupation is not exclusive.

You are responsible for the contents of the accommodation whilst it is let to you. If you leave the accommodation in a messy or untidy state, you will be charged for the extra cleaning at an hourly rate of £15.

All damages or losses are chargeable and should be reported to the Park Reception before your departure.

We reserve the right to make a reasonable charge to you for any damages, missing items or extra cleaning, including damage to other guests’ property.

Behaviour

You are expected to act in a courteous and considerate manner towards us, our staff and anyone visiting, using or working on the Park, including other customers. Foul language will not be tolerated.

Noise should be kept to low levels between 21:00 and 08:00, with silence between 23:00 and 07:00. The park has 24hr supervision at busy times, and any persons causing an undue disturbance may be required to leave immediately.

In the event of serious or persistent misconduct by you, a member of your family, your occupiers, visitors or guests, we will terminate your booking, which may require you to leave the Park immediately.

You must not commit any criminal offence (whether or not on the Park or in its vicinity) which causes your name to be entered on the Violent and Sex Offender Register or causes you to be subject to a Risk of Sexual Harm Order or Child Abduction Warning Notice (or any register, order or notice succeeding these).

You must not permit anyone who is to your knowledge on the Violent and Sex Offender Register or subject to a Risk of Sexual Harm Order or a Child Abduction Warning Notice (or any register, order or notice succeeding these) to use or visit the Park.

You may only consume alcoholic drinks within the boundaries of your pitch or on the park’s licensed premises.

You must not use a drone, powered model aircraft or any other powered flying object in the park.

You must not use any paper lanterns, fireworks or similar.

Kites should not be flown on-site due to overhead power lines.

Ball games should be played away from buildings, pitches and vehicles.

Coronavirus Measures

We have a range of measures in place across the park to minimise the risk of spreading coronavirus. Please follow our notices and the relevant Scottish Government guidance while staying with us.

Scottish Government Guidance: https://www.gov.scot/coronavirus-covid-19/

Environment

Please do your best to help us minimise our energy consumption by turning electrical appliances off when they are not in use and using heating/hot water efficiently.

We have our own sewage treatment plant, and it’s a delicate operation. Please do not dispose of items such as cleaning cloths, babies’ nappies, sanitary towels, condoms, cooking fat, engine oil, grease, or paint in a toilet or drain.

Fires & Barbecues

Burning firewood on site is prohibited as sparks pose a fire risk to nearby forests.

Charcoal-burning chimineas/fire pits are allowed only when they are not excessively smokey and do not negatively impact other guests.

Small barbecues are allowed but should be positioned at a safe and reasonable distance from other customers. Picnic tables scattered around the park are fitted with BBQ plates, which should be used to prevent heat damage.

Barbecues are not permitted when there is a high fire risk warning in the area.

Vehicles

We encourage customers to minimise the use of their vehicles while staying with us. All of our facilities are a short walk from your accommodation.

Please do not drive on the grass.

Overnight use of vehicles can cause significant disturbance to other guests. For this reason, we close the gates to our caravan and camping areas between 11 pm and 7 am.

If you arrive at the park when the gates are closed, please park in the spaces provided at the park entrance.

If you need to leave the park when the gates are closed, please do so quietly. We do not lock the gates to allow exit in an emergency.

Commercial vehicles are not permitted in the park.

Pets

If you plan to bring a pet, please first check whether pets are allowed in your accommodation of choice and provide details when booking.

Any pet or animal you bring must be supervised by and under your control or of a responsible adult in your party at all times.

If you do not supervise and control any pet or animal, we are likely to ask you to remove it from the park straight away. We cannot allow the safety of others to be put at risk.

Dogs can be let off their lead on designated dog exercise areas but otherwise must be kept on a short lead at all times on the park.

You must clean up if your animal defecates in the park. Pets must not cause any nuisance, undue noise or disturbance.

Children

Children must be supervised whilst in the park and are the responsibility of their parent or guardian during their stay.

An adult must accompany small children to the toilets.

Fire Safety Precautions

You must ensure that all occupants of your accommodation are familiar with the location of the Fire Points and the contents of the Fire Notices displayed at each point.

You must not store fuels or combustible materials other than removal containers in the park.

Photography

We regularly take photographs and videos for promotional purposes, and we occasionally receive requests from third parties to film in the park. Should you not wish to appear in any material, please pay attention to the notices we put up when pictures are being taken.

Photography is prohibited in the children’s play area and wash blocks.
